version 1.1.4 – changelog
Krush Pro takes our beloved free bitcrusher Krush to the next level.
We have added multiple modulation options, including LFOs, step sequencers, and an envelope follower, to give you more creative control over your sound.
A standout feature of KrushPro is its pioneering full stereo modulation capabilities, where every modulator operates in stereo. This is complemented by a stereo balance knob for each modulation slot, facilitating cutting-edge modulation techniques across the stereo field for every parameter.
In addition to our renowned bit-crushing processor, KrushPro includes a new ‘Wavecrushing’ distortion module built on an innovative wavesets processing algorithm, introducing a variety of new tonal qualities. The plugin also features a dual frequency shifter/ring modulator FX module and two input/output filter sections for additional sound design flexibility.
KrushPro is designed for those looking beyond traditional bitcrushing, giving you all the tools to craft distinctive bitcrushed tones.
“A Bitcrusher On Steroids”
“KrushPro has evolved into a flexible multi-effect that excels at distortion, modulation, and all sorts of tasteful audio destruction.”
Bitcrushing
Tasty bitcrushing module with crunchy drive stage, bit depth and sample rate reduction.
Wavecrushing
Discover our wavecrushing module. Explore new distorsions and audio dislocations.
Ring Modulation and Freq Shifting
From subtle tremolo to sci-fi effects. A flexible modulation module to set your tone appart.
Additive Modulation
Build a rich spectrum with modulating signals constructed via additive synthesis.
Stereo Modulations
All the modulators are stereo!
Create unheard effects by modulating parameters differently on the left and right channels.
Modulations Routing
Flexible and intuitive routing via colour-coded menus and drag-n-drop
3 LFOs
Stereo output; 6 waveforms;host-syncable; Extended frequency range
2 Step Sequencers
16 steps; 6 directions option; stereo mode; steps bypass switches; host-syncable
1 Envelope Follower
Stereo envelope follower to use the envelope of your input signal as a modulation signal.
3 Macros
With drag-and-drop support and stereo output.
Pre and Post-fx Filtering stages
More filtering combinations for creative distortions
4 filter types
New Bandpass and Comb filters. Improved LP and HP filters responses.
The interface is fully resizable
Reorder the fx modules by drag-and-drop!
Those horizontal bars above the fxs aren’t just for aesthetics:
they are dry/wet controls!
Use the button at the bottom of the plugin to show/hide the modulations panel
3 ways to create a modulation routing:
– drag and drop a modulator
– use the menus in the modulations slots
– right click on the parameter to modulate
Use Alt+click on the ‘active’ button of a modulation slot to delete it
There is a ‘stereo mode’ button at the bottom left of the step sequencers!
Use the ∆φ control of the LFOs to quickly create stereo modulations effects!
(it adds a phase offset between the left and right channel)
Each modulation slot as a ‘balance’ knob to control the L/R routing of the modulation.
Use alt+drag on the modulators thumbnails to copy the settings of a LFO or a Step Sequencer to another one.
Use the button at the top right of the module to switch between ‘freq shift’ and ‘ring modulation’
The wavetable used by the wavecrusher can be selected through a menu.
